The Army on Tuesday said they had killed two Pakistani troopers in an "adjusted activity" close to the Line of Control (LoC) "to contain invasion" in north Kashmir's Kupwara region.
"In a retaliatory activity to ridiculous truce infringement and rehashed endeavors to encourage penetration by the Pakistan Army in Tangdhar Sector, the Army completed adjusted tasks on Monday night in which two Pakistani officers were killed," said Srinagar-based representative Lt. Col. Rajesh Kalia.

A cop said the Pakistan Rangers had submitted an "infringement of the truce" and opened the expert rifleman discharge upon the Army posts of 20 Jat on Monday morning.
The perished trooper was distinguished as Sepoy Pushpendra Singh of Mathura (28), Uttar Pradesh. Mr. Singh had joined the Army in 2011 and had a place with Khutiya of Mathura District, Uttar Pradesh. He is made due by his better half and a child.
The Army representative said Lt. Gen. A.K. Bhatt, Chinar Corps Commander, paid tribute to the expired warrior. The mortal stays of the warrior were flown for last customs to his local town.
